Where does the time go?

The “ber” months are starting to roll in, and just as Julia Fordham once pondered on her dilemma, I too now bring the question to the forefront: where does the time go (does anyone know?)… albeit not in song form.

It seems like I was just writing about ushering the New Year, and yet, I find myself staring at the last quarter of 2008. I guess there is some truth to the old adage that ‘time flies when you’re having fun’.

Yes, I am one of the few people that actually enjoys coming to work. Call me a geek; brand me as a nerd, but I do enjoy my job. But as I make reference to another old adage, ‘all good things must come to an end’.

This will be my What’s New update and Channels Manager Kankan Ramos will be taking over the reins.

So, as my swansong, let me just fill you in on what’s been cooking:

1. As the UAAP season comes to a close, you may want to keep a close eye on your favorite teams. Whether it be news and updates, schedules and results, your fave player’s profile or photos and videos, our UAAP pages has it. So come on and check out the latest on the hottest collegiate basketball league.

2. As the “ber” months are rolling in, it is getting more tempting to take a vacation. A quick trip to Island Cove may just be the break that you are looking for. Read up on the ginormous resort or check out a few photos.

3. And while we’re on the subject of taking vacations, we just have to mention one of the hottest spots in the Philippines: Boracay. Our travel editor braved the unpredictable weather and headed over to the islands to “Count the blessings of Boracay”.

However, if you are stuck at home or have to trudge to the office, we still have a few things for you to sort through.
