Infra Cluster to Report Duterte Legacies with Final Project Review of Working Committee on Infrastructure Flagship Projects

The Build Build Build program is the President Rodrigo Roa Duterte administration’s ambitious infrastructure development plan that is composed of thousands of projects implemented all over the country.

As the six-year term of office of President Duterte draws to a close, infrastructure flagship projects under Build Build Build program continued to make progress and are also setting up the foundation in terms of infrastructure for the incoming administration.

To ensure a substantial report of the great legacy accomplishments by the Cabinet Infrastructure Cluster Chair and Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Roger G. Mercado for the upcoming Duterte Legacy campaign on May 30, 2022, the working committee of the infrastructure cluster led by Undersecretary and BBB Chief Implementer Emil K. Sadain recently organized the Infrastructure Flagship Projects (IFP) Summit. 

The 5th IFP meeting held at the Philippine International Convention Center – Reception Hall in Pasay City provides the opportunity to review progress of all 119 flagship infrastructure projects, 44 of which are under  the implementation of DPWH. 

The meeting, also participated by working committee of the economic development cluster also covers the inter-agency reporting to ensure infrastructure development continuity for the next administration.

Undersecretary Sadain said that the IFP Summit has served as a fitting venue to enable the preparation of Duterte Legacy Report as well as the comprehensive transition report to be used by the next administration.

Through the accomplishments, the infrastructure cluster has contributed to the President Rodrigo Roa Duterte lasting legacies, a fulfilment of his promise and a manifestation of his commitment to bring about the necessary change for the betterment of his countrymen, added Undersecretary Sadain. 

The upcoming Duterte Legacy campaign at PICC aims to inform the public about the government’s programs, policies, accomplishments, and efforts to bring about real change to the lives of the Filipino people by showcasing reports from Cabinet Secretaries and real stories from the beneficiaries of the administration’s landmark policies and programs.
